The difference between Fat loss and Weight loss

Let’s get this straight
Fat loss and weight loss are two different things

Weight Loss means you want to lower your body-weight, compromising of the weight of your bones, muscles, organs and body fat

Fat Loss means you want to lower your body fat percentage, the amount of fat your body carries.

they both have very different meanings
for example weight loss is often experienced on these fad diets you see everywhere of course people lose weight fast at the start but its mainly water weight and you have a high chance of rebounding if the person decides they don’t want to do this fad diet anymore they have no direction on where to go next
plus it is burning everything off which will reduce your bodies calorie requirement so when you go back to normal eating you will think you are eating well but then the weight starts going back on and it’s because your bodies calorie demand is now a lot less than when you started.

Fat loss, for example, would be aiming to lower your body fat percentage and put muscle on incorporating
a strength/resistance program and lose weight gradually over the weeks and months
with no crash dieting this is the most effective way for fat loss and will improve your body composition the most

This is very important remember
Every kg of fat requires around 30cals a day
Every kg of muscle requires around 45cals a day
that would mean increasing your muscle mass would increase your calorie
demand allowing you to get away with eating more food!

I hope this explained the differences between weight loss and fat loss for you
